Verticle lines of creeper block. individual placement of butti. Single colour print on bedsheet.

Single colour block print on bed sheet. Diagonal lines placement. Butti block.

Big Box

Orange and Blue Pattern. One square block and two border blocks. Neat joining.

Central pattern

One butti block and two border blocks have been used. This is a two colour print on a single, plain bed sheet.

Purpose

Good Evening. India is well known for beautiful wooden hand block prints. While learning it needs a small collection of equipment. This blog is to share the block print experiences and exercises of the students of textiles. The patterns created in the laboratory are also presented. It needs planning to start and needs lots of practice to set your hand.
